In my career, I have had the opportunity to devise a number of strategies to execute specific integrated marketing and public relations campaigns, including internal and external communications, public speaking, writing and editing, social media and graphic design. The cornerstone of all these is great writing, great content and building great relationships. I pride myself in being able to write compelling prose in a number of situations. Whether that be press releases, speeches, opinion columns or brochures and fact sheets, I have an innate ability to craft carefully worded messages that educate and engage the interest of readers. My skills and successes at cultivating relationships with the media and other audiences are a great asset to securing awareness, good will and driving leads.

In 2011, the State of Ohio Library nominated the handbook Solar Makes Cents: A Residential Consumer’s Guide to Harnessing the Sun’s Energy and it was selected as the only government document in Ohio to win distinction from the American Library Association. I conceptualized, researched and wrote the handbook which is now permanently available at the U.S. Library of Congress along with the State Library’s Ohio document collection and was distributed to the state’s 46 library depositories.
